Medieval dress - made to order

Every year, come September, the 'Terra de Trobadors', a medieval festival is celebrated in one of the nearby villages, where many people dress the part and enjoy 3 days of festivities.

I designed and made this dress this year for Meritxell.  It´s made of 100% cotton velvet, with silver / black braiding as a trimming.  It came out really nicely. The colour is a gorgeous deep purple.

Art & English workshop

What a week!  After some serious organising and planning I hosted a 5 day (9am - 1:30pm) with 10 kiddies aged 3 to 11 in collaboration with the Ajuntament de Palau-Saverdera.   They certainly kept me on my toes and seemed to enjoy every second of it. (a handy online collage tool)

Rainbow owl

This little guy is going to be made into a softie.  I´ve just ordered the fabric on Spoonflower. The finished softie (stuffed toy) will measure about 18 x 22cm (7,2 x 8,8 inches) Limited edition of 18 owls.
